Pinar Del Rio's (PDR) 1878 Reserva Dominicana Capa Habana cigar (aka Blue Label) is a limited production, medium-bodied puro from the Dominican Republic. Wrapped in a natural leaf finished in a pigtail cap and closed foot, the PDR 1878 Capa Habana is given a double binder of Criollo '98 and Habano seed to pump up the cigar's flavor profile, along with Corojo, Habano, and Criollo '98 aged fillers. This cigar offers up a variety of flavors, including pepper, spice, coffee, wood, and a sweet hint of nougat. The PDR 1878 Reserva Dominicana Capa Habana cigar is an enjoyable smoke at a decent price point, just as Abe Flores intended.
