The Arturo Fuente Rosado Sungrown Magnum R Series cigars feature 8- to 10-year-old Ecuadoran wrappers taken from the lower part of the plant. "It's the original John Oliva (Oliva Tobacco Company) wrapper from Ecuador. We set those wrappers aside when we first created the Sungrown line," said Carlos Fuente Jr., president of Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia, when interviewed by Cigar Aficionado. The binder and filler are Dominican. The Rosado Sungrown Magnum R cigar is a very balanced and elegant mild to medium-bodied smoke with a sweet, long finish. Considering its pedigree, flavor, and complexity, we think you'll agree that the price of the Magnum R is as pleasing as the cigar itself.
